Dr. Kengskool is a Tenured Associate Professor at Florida International University in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering located in Miami.  He received his Master and PhD. in Industrial Engineering at the University of Missouri-Columbia in May of 1986. He also received the second Master Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla in 1976.  He received his Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from Chulalongkorn University in 1974.    His major research area has been in the area of Applied Artificial Intelligence for Productivity Enhancement of Industrial Systems.  He has been involved with the ISE department at FIU since the Spring of 1986.   He  developed and became the Director of Systems Modeling and Simulation Labs for 10 years (1986 to 1995). He was a founding member and the first President of the “Association of Thai Professional in America and Canada (ATPAC) in 1991.  He has over 60 refereed publications and gave over 40 presentations Nationally and Internationally in the past years.  He received several funded grants as the Principal Investigator from competitive sources such as the National Sciences Foundation (NSF).  Currently, Dr. Kengskool is a member of the Faculty Council for the College of Engineering & Computing and the College’s Representative for the International Programs in Thailand. He is an active Board of Director of ATPAC and the Board of Director of Thai-American Association of South Florida at the present time.
